International Nurse Day – 2024

International Nurse’s Day is celebrated in Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College Hospital and Research Institute on 16th May 2024 at ACS Auditorium, SCMCH&RI. We noticed active participation from all the nursing staff without causing any hindrance to hospital work. Special invitation for the event has been rendered to our beloved Founder Chairman Dr A C Shanmugam, Sri A C S Arun Kumar, President, Dr Vijayanand, Executive Director, Dr Naveen S, Advisor, Dr Roshan Kumar, Medical Superintendent and Dr Pravin, Principal, SCMCH. The chief guest for the event is Dr Shruthi S, Principal of SD Jayram Nursing College, Mandya.
The event began with Invocation Song as a customary event followed by Lamp Lighting and Welcome Speech by our Nursing staff Mrs. Chaitanya.
After inauguration ceremony, Chief guest of the event graced the occasion by her motivating speech. Few of our best nurses were given ‘Best Nurse’s Award’ and were felicitated during the event. Sports and rangoli competition were conducted previously for our Nursing Staff and prizes were distributed on the Nurse’s Day to appreciate their hidden talents. Nurse’s Day Speech was given by our Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Mr’s. Sumithra N L. Cultural Programmes were also conducted by our enthusiastic nurses on the occasion of Nursing Day celebrations. The event is concluded by Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Chaitanya sister. Special thanks to our Chairman Sir and President Sir without whose support this event could not be planned and executed. As always, our guidance from within the hospital campus came from Dr Roshan Kumar Sir and Dr Pravin Sir who extended a warm support and stood by us in conducting the celebrations amidst the busy schedule of our hospital.
