International Women’s Day 2022

The International Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated at Sri Chamundeshwari Hospital in Channapatna on 8th March 2022

The function presided with a welcome song.

The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs. Purnima Ningyegowda – Chairman, Chennambhika Group of Educational Institutions, Channapatna. The guest was felicitated by the Sri Chanmundeshwari Hospital Authorities. In addition to the Sri Shakthi Sangha, Chennambhika College Students also increased the glory of the program. The Chief Guest interacted with the audience and clarified all their quires concerned to the problems faced by women.
At this occasion, the hospital provided free health check-up and free sanitary personal care protection products to all the women who took part in the program. The hospital doctors gave a public awareness speech about several life threatening diseases like cervical cancer, menstruation and breast cancer through PPT. Medical students enacted an awareness drama about menstruation.
The members who graced the occasion were Dr. Praveen, Dr. Naveen, Dr Swapna, Dr Vidyajeevan, Dr. Monica and Dr Sham.
The program ended with a vote of thank and with a working lunch.
